'Leading a Life of Dignity in the Post-COVID World: Learning from the lived experience of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities' is a research project on the lives of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities authored and designed for the Sarvodya Collective.

The report was released on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disability (IDPD) 2021.

Process Highlights:
This report aims to center the voices of People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PwIDD) in India, Using principles of Design Justice, co-design, and feminist research ethics, the Barabar team worked with self-advocates, caregivers of PwIDD, and organizations working in the sector for this report. The report highlights the various aspects of PwIDD's lives, their challenges across intersections, challenges faced by their support networks, as well as co-designed recommendations to alleviate some of these pressing challenges.
